One of a chain of ski resorts ringing the gloriously scenic Lake Tahoe on the California-Nevada border, Diamond Peak overlooks some of the most magnificent views of the lake to be found at any of the 15 Tahoe resorts.
Diamond Peak, essentially a family resort, has largely intermediate trails, with some good beginner runs. The more challenging terrain is found in the trees of Solitude Canyon, reached by traversing from the top of the Crystal Quad.
