Mont Saint-Sauveur
Overview
One of the prettiest ski villages in North America, Mont Saint-Sauveur can also be one of the coldest. With nine lifts and a 700ft vertical drop, there isn't quite enough skiing to make Mont Saint-Sauveur a true destination resort. It makes more sense as part of a five-area valley experience or a side-trip from Tremblant. It's one of five ski areas in the Valley of Saint-Sauveur, with a combined total of 86 trails served by 31 lifts. The other resorts – Mont Avila, Ski Morin Heights, Mont Olympia and Ski Mont Gabriel – are linked by a free shuttle bus service. At sunset, the region is transformed into the 'Valley of Stars' – the largest joint night-skiing area in the world.
