Kössen
Overview
Kössen is located in the north-west of the Unterberg mountain which is well-known for skiing and offers unique panoramic views.
As snow is guaranteed at more than 1,700 m and as there are supplementary snow cannons on the tracks and pistes, the Kössen ski area ensures superb top-to-bottom-skiing and lots of fun. Additionally, with about 140 km of cross country tracks, Kössen is a true paradise for cross country skiers.
The pure nature, the wide open basins and cleared winter hiking trails make the wishes of any hiking fan come true. The resort offers guided tours whether with torchlight at night, at daylight, in winter or in summer.
Moreover, if you spend your holidays in Kössen, you will be granted a free VIP guestcard, which, for instance, allows to use the Nordic skiing tracks in the Kaiserwinkl region for free.
