Falls Creek
Overview
Two of Victoria's resorts, Falls Creek and Mount Hotham, are owned by the same company, share a lift ticket and are linked by a helicopter service, which saves a two-and-a-half hour drive.
Falls Creek, on the edge of the Bogong High Plains, is a European-style ski-in, ski-out village among the gum trees. Parking is at the village base and your luggage is transported by snowcat. There are more than 20 lifts spread across four distinct areas: Village Bowl (with the principal slopes), Sun Valley, the Black Diamond Maze Area and the Terrain Park. Falls Creek is famous for its bumps under the Summit quad-chair and provides the venue for many of Australia's mogul competitions.
