Hotel The Lodge at Edgewood, Lake Tahoe

Location

On the lake with direct access to one of South Tahoe's best beaches (but you're not going to be sunbathing during the winter months). The lodge is just under 2km from the Heavenly Gondola, however, there is a complimentary hotel local shuttle to get to the gondola or into town and back, so no walking what-so-ever in your ski boots. Surrounded by the golf course, which becomes fields of snow once November's rolled by, it's well away from the high rise casinos and all-night parties. You're more likely to be caught star-gazing than rolling snake eyes at the craps table.

Rooms

Each room has a gas fire as well as a private patio or terrace. All are en-suite and include a coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers, mini bar, complimentary valet parking, and WiFi.

Tahoe rooms have a king bed with seating area or two queen beds and the balcony has chairs and a table. Each room is en-suite with a bath and separate shower. They have a mountain, golf course or lake view, sleeps 2 - 4 max.

Premier rooms have a king or queen beds with seating area and a large bathroom. The double sink separates the bath and the shower areas, and the large balcony/terrace has plenty of room to relax at the table or sun loungers. They have a mountain, golf course or lake view, sleeps 2 - 4 max.

Presidential suite has one bedroom with a king bed and separate lounge area. En-suite with stand along bathtub and separate shower. The huge lounge area has a separate guest bathroom and balcony/terrace with views over the lake, sleeps 2 max.
