Overview

Nestled between the Sella Massif and the Fodoma Valley, next to the Marmolada mountain range, you'll find the Hotel Garni Serena. This is a cosy family run hotel where the staff are very welcoming and will look after you throughout your stay. You'll be feeling seriously relaxed after a week spent here.
You might also want some time to relax, which is where the spa comes in. The spa is decorated in a rustic Italian style and covered in earthy colours, which will keep you feeling zen every second you're in there. There's more than one sauna, so no need to crowd in with other people, and the sensory showers will keep you feeling fresh and clean after your spa session.
If you just want to get out on the slopes with as little fuss as possible, all you have to do is grab your boots from the heated boot room and walk the short 100 metres to the slopes.

Margherita Twin Room- sleeps 2 are 21m². They have a shower and balcony with mountain view.

Twin Room-sleeps 2- 3 are more spacious 23m². The extra bed is a single sofa bed. They have a bath and shower and also have a mountain view.

Margherita Twin Room- sleeps 1- for sole use are available on request.

Buffet breakfast with cold and hot options. There's a lot to choose from. The juices are fresh and the cheeses are locally sourced which adds a bit of class to your breakfast time.

Half Board upgrade available:

3 course evening buffet - is taken at the Hotel Malita, a hotel shuttle will take guests from 16:30 to 21:30, or it is just a ten minute walk away.

About Arabba

Arabba is found in the midst of the Sella Ronda circuit, with a total of 175km of runs. The whole area offers great intermediate skiing, but Arabba is best known for the challenges it provides for better skiers and boarders. There are great steeps, combined with a good snow record and direct access to the Marmolada glacier. You'll also find some of the best heli-skiing in the Alps. It isn't a great place if you are looking for lots of off-snow activities, while for young kids it's really quite lacking. The resort itself isn't exceptional - small and uncommercial, with some reasonable eateries and accommodation. People are really here for the skiing/boarding, though. Après-ski shouldn't trouble visitors too late into the night, with only two venues of note.

Overall, Arabba is a resort geared towards the better skiers/boarders and doesn't offer a whole heck of a lot else. Some have described it as being an Italian Argentière…
