Overview
Residence Samoens Village opened its doors for the first time for the 2022-23 winter season. The chalet-style residence, awarded with the Pyramide d’Argent for its low-carbon construction, is characterised by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The architecture is elegant and stylish yet provides that classic mountain aesthetic.
The sizeable apartments are fitted and furnished with great attention to detail and nicely decorated in a cosy yet contemporary alpine style. The open-plan kitchen area is fully-equipped with all the tools to prepare good meals. The living areas offer comfy sofas, and the rooms are both generously sized and well-appointed.
At the Residence Samoens Village guests can benefit from free access to the Aquatic Area, equipped with a heated indoor-outdoor swimming pool, a sauna and a Hamman... and let’s not forget the outdoor whirlpool. Spa treatments are also available (payable locally) for ultimate relaxation. Free WiFi is included in the residence.
The spacious residence’s lounge feels homely thanks to the pleasant fireplace and there are several spaces and clubs dedicated to children and teenagers.

Apartments
All apartments have a kitchenette with oven, a hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, dishwasher and tea and coffee-making facilities. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchen) are included. Beds are made on arrival.
Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.
1 bedroom apartment (approx. 33m²) - sleeps 1-4- Double bed or twin bedroom, separate living room with extra double sofa bed when booked for three or four, private bath, WC and balcony or terrace.
2 bedroom apartment (approx. 34-44m²) - sleeps 1-6- Double bed or twin bedroom, bunk beds, separate living room with extra double sofa bed when booked for five or six, private bath, WC and balcony or terrace.
2 bedroom apartment (approx. 43-61m²) - sleeps 1-6- Two double or twin bedrooms, separate living room with extra double sofa bed when booked for five or six, private bath, WC and balcony or terrace.
3 bedroom apartment (approx. 53-58m²) - sleeps 1-8- Two double or twin bedrooms, bunk beds, separate living room with extra double sofa bed when booked for seven or eight, private bath, WC and balcony or terrace.

Résidence Club MMV Samoëns Village Children's Club
There's a range of clubs in this hotel to suit children aged 4 and over. The Kids Club is for children aged 4-6 years, the Juniors Club is for kids aged 7-10 years, the Teens Club is for 11-13 year olds and the Ados Club is for older teens aged 14-17 years.
Activities:
In the Kids and Junior clubs there are indoor and outdoor activities including games and challenges, themed workshops, post-ski pancakes, a children's show and geocaching. And if your child's booked in to ski school, they'll be taken to their lessons on the first morning.
In the Teens and Ados clubs, there are games and activities, SMS challenges, competitions and two free outdoor activities, plus other outdoor activities (available at an extra cost). And if your child (up to 13 years old) is booked in to ski school, they'll be taken to their lessons on the first morning.
The Squ@t Ados room is available for kids aged 11 years and over and it's free to access when reception's open. There's a TV and Playstation 4, virtual reality headset, speaker, board games and sofas.
Childcare options:
The Kids Club and Juniors Club are available all winter (there's an extra charge during the French school holidays) Monday-Friday 9am – 12pm and 2-5pm. The Teens Club and Ados Club are only available during the French school holidays Monday - Friday from 5pm, with additional hours 2 evenings per week from 7.30-10pm.

Catering
Offered on a self catered basis, guests will be able to collect provisions from the nearby supermarkets or enjoy sampling the regional and internationally inspired cuisine in one of the many local restaurants.

About Samoëns
With the recent arrival of Club Med, Samoëns has been transformed from a charming, if sleepy corner of the Grand Massif ski area to one of the Alps' go to destinations.
Just an hour from Geneva airport, yet this resort gives you access to high-altitude skiing with over 250km of mostly tree-lined pistes. A great variety of slopes mean that all levels are catered for. The village still oozes Alpine charm, with a gondola link whisking you directly to the main ski area that starts from 1600m. Links to Flaine, Morillon and Les Carroz mean there's always somewhere new to explore.
The village even has the honour of being an official historical monument. Away from the slopes, if you're looking for clubs and pubs, this isn't the place. Instead, you'll find plenty of restaurants serving excellent local dishes.
Overall, Samoëns is a good little spot to know about: the skiing is great, challenging and varied. Very unusually for a resort of this size, Geneva's just an hour or so away and facilities for kids are excellent.
