Overview
Description
These chalets have been built and finished to a high standard in a newly developed area of la Rosière 1850. The main entrance to the chalet is at the rear of the building on the second floor; there is plenty of covered parking on the ground floor.
Chalet Perdrix 2 is on the second floor of the chalet development. It has six bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities, five of which have balconies. There is ample comfortable seating in the lounge around the fireplace together with a balcony off the dining area providing stunning views of the nearby resort of Les Arcs as well as the ski areas of Val d’Isère and Tignes in the distance. Chalet Perdrix has two communal saunas and a ski deposit with heated boot warmers.
Location: located approximately 250m from the Les Eucherts Express 6-seater
chairlift, ESF ski school meeting point and nursery slopes, the chalet
is very conveniently located for the start of the day's activities. The
ski hire and other shops are even closer and you can ski back to within
50m of the chalet at the end of the day. Les Eucherts links to La
Rosiere 1850 via a pretty forest track which can be easily walked in 15
minutes. Alternatively you can take a short local bus ride. However,
with its own ski school and hire, bowling alley, ice rink, bars and
restaurants, Les Eucherts is a convenient centre in itself.

About La Rosière 1850
La Rosière skiing
La Rosière is built in traditional chalet style high up on the road from Bourg-St-Maurice to the Petit St Bernard pass to Italy. There’s a main village and a newer satellite (Les Eucherts), a short bus ride – or a floodlit forest walk – to the east. La Rosière is lift linked with the Italian resort of La Thuile and has a great snow record. The two resorts, although unlikely stablemates, form a substantial ski area with plenty of long wide runs to please intermediates.
La Rosière also provides a useful gateway to some exciting heli-skiing over in Italy, enabling locals and ski holiday makers in France to heli-ski in Italy to their hearts' content - bookable through the Evolution 2 ski school, before returning to France's Tarentaise Valley. The combined area has 38 lifts and 145km of pistes.
La Rosière ski resort
La Rosière, although purpose built, is a gem of quintessential alpine charm. Off Piste activites are limited, although visitors are happy enough whiling away the evenings in the relaxed bars and restaurants (the Petit Danois is popular and offers Sky tv sports coverage. The locals are friendly and the prices are lower than most other Tarentaise resorts.
