Overview

Chalet Jacques is furnished to a high standard in a traditional chalet style with a mix of natural stone and rich wood. The extensive open-plan living and dining area features a striking central fireplace. There is also a balcony from which you can enjoy the stunning views over the Vallée de Bozel. In addition, there is a sauna and an outdoor hot tub on the terrace. All 5 bedrooms, furnished with handmade wooden furniture have the benefit of en suite facilites.

Location

Set in a superb location on the edge of the Proveres piste and at the foot of the toboggan run, the exquisite Chalet Jacques is an ideal choice for the ski enthusiast. For ultimate convenience you can ski back to the chalet at the end of the day. In the morning it’s a short, gentle walk downhill to the Grangettes Telecabine that accesses the whole of the Three Valleys ski area or some may choose to walk up the steps at the side of the chalet to enjoy the ski down.

Chalet Layout

The chalet is spectacular with high standard facilities. The design is clever with traditional alpine architecture with a modern feel. The fireplace in middle of the dining/living area is perfect to relax after a long day on the slopes! The spacious dining table is perfect for 10 guests. The bedrooms are all en-suite and decorated with woollen fabrics and wood. The wellness facilities (sauna and outdoor hot tub) will be a welcome haven after an exhausting day on the slopes, or just to take time to relax! There is also a ski locker room with boot warmers and free Wi-Fi in the entire chalet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: two full-sized ovens, six burner halogen hobs, full-size fridge freezer, large dishwasher, microwave, tea&coffee station with a bean to cup coffee machine.

About Courchevel 1550

Courchevel 1550 sits directly below 1850 but can feel like a world away. A quiet village, but with excellent piste access, Courchevel 1550 is an excellent base for those less fussed by extensive nightlife and more interested in direct access into the vast Three Valleys ski area. It even works if you fancy trying Courchevel 1850's legendary atmosphere without blowing the entire budget on accommodation alone. Gondola access is possible until the early evenings and buses down run until the early hours. Courchevel 1550 now also plays host to Aquamotion, billed as the "Largest European Water Park in the Mountains".

Make no mistake, this is not the same as staying in 1850 or even 1650, but it's becoming increasingly fashionable and you get a lot more for your money here.
