Overview
Get a true taste of Austrian hospitality at the Alpenrose, a family-run stay in the Schruns area of the Montafon valley. The ski school, lifts and nursery slopes are all around a 5-minute walk away. And you can hop on the free ski bus that stops outside if you fancy exploring further afield.
The hotel itself has that classic mountain feel. We’re talking staff clad in traditional dress, a snug lounge with a proper open fire, and bedrooms decked out with furry throws and plenty of natural wood.

About Montafon
The 295km of piste in the Montafon valley is shared between six different ski areas, each connected by a ski bus. Silvretta-Montafon’s the biggest and has plenty of intermediate terrain, with spacious summit slopes galore, as well as lots of lift-accessed powder runs too. Golm’s gentle tree-lined trails are great for beginners and families, and smaller areas like Gargellen are a good shout if you’re after some of the shortest lift queues around.
